Spotting International Investments through contrasts and distortions is a good way to enhance wealth and gain the ability to earn where ever you choose to visit or live. This creates true economic freedom.
Look at how international investments in real estate create distortions.
Compare international investments in London housing that costs (though they are falling) $1,000 a square foot or more!
For example I looked for international investments in the cheapest listing at sothebysrealty.com
Here is what I found.
102, 9 Hertford
Street, London, England. Property ID #0121359 £495,000
for a 1-bedroom, first-floor flat of approximately 836
sq.
ft. The flat is situated in the heart of Mayfair with all
the amenities, transport links, and Green Park and Hyde
Park just moments away, making it an ideal pied a terre
or rental investment. Air conditioning, entry phone, lift,
porterage 7 days a week, maid service 5 days a week. Leasehold
with approximately 970 years remaining. Here it is:

This rather dreary looking flat goes for a $1,168 a square foot!
Compare this
to Naples Florida where international investments in condos
also
seem outrageous. New condos are being built right
next to our condo there. They are about 3,000 square feet
and the advertisements proudly point out that they start
at only $1,350,000.

Condos in Naples may look nicer than flats in London and they may be nearer the beach and as international investments these prices are really low compared to London. They still seem pretty steep to me at $450 a square foot.

That works out at $2.28 a square foot. Throw in $40 a square foot for construction and you have costs of $43 a square foot for a beach front house. You can see how beautiful beaches are in this area from these pictures I took on my last visit there.


Construction at that price is beautiful too! Look at this house built by the architectural firm Barro Viejo that we use in Ecuador.

International investments can be beautiful and inexpensive!
Which do you choose, London at $1,168 a square foot, Naples at $450 a square foot or the Manta region at $43 a square foot?
Similar real estate trends are at work here in North Carolina where similar properties sell at a 100 times difference!
